    Before making a property commitment, we can assess situations and recommend solutions at a sensible price. A brief Major Defects Report or a Schedule of Condition may be appropriate for inclusion in short term leases whilst for larger investments a Full Structural Survey will be required.

    In simple terms a party wall divides ownership interests of two or more parties and gives rights and responsibilities whichever side of the wall you are on. Since 1997 the Party Wall Act 1996 has been in effect and applies to walls and structures separating you from your neighbours, hence you will find this applies in flats and apartments, semi detached and terrace houses and even with detached houses which share fence lines.
